BotoxKitty Said: Easy and great! Jul. 11th 2010

First instance someone here- actually I've never owned anything non piano related. I heard that mandolins are hornlike to tune, but this went pretty smoothly. The activity is nice, snug, and has backwards arrange straps! I rattling love it, and can't wait to see to rock out with this lowercase guitar. After all, according to lesbian walker, "little guitar means party". Indeed.

Mary M. Anderson Said: Still Going after Christmas Mar. 11th 2010

I bought this for my girl for Christmastime 2009 and here in March 2010 we are ease doing good. She is 14 and we hit had to change the anorectic E progress twice because it busted but, the tone is enthusiastic for the toll and the bag is a Godsend. If it were not for the padded bag, I undergo that more damage would have occurred. The strings are a discompose in the laughingstock to change. I conceive that the lowermost metal casing is the reason that the strings bust a little easier. They do not hit a impressible junky same a guitar. The metal distinction cuts into the bottom of the strings. It also would be nicer if it had an limb to confiscate the band or modify a neck bolt. I have also had to tighten the screw on the striker bag because during field practice it loosens as you play. It is hornlike to do because, the tiny junky that is low the shield crapper just be held while you turn the propellor above. It could rattling do with a lockwasher of whatever sort. Now, that every sounds negative but they are really small things in the long run. Buy you a some player strings and endeavor this nice little mandolin. I truly love to center my daughter endeavor on it and crapper stand it alot individual than her violin. Parents, advert the bag is worth twice its money.Kansas K-MA1B Mandolin, Sunburst

Ginger Naseri Said: Great gift Feb. 9th 2010

Purchased this mandolin as a heritage for my 19 year old son who plays bass but wanted to try discover the mandolin. He really likes it....first abstract he did though was to change discover the strings. Handy carry case. Good sound/tone. Great for beginner.

Eebles Said: Great Mandolin for the Price Dec. 31st 2009

I bought this as a Christmastime heritage for my husband. Given that we're experienced bass players, I wondered if I should invest in a more pricey mandolin. Ultimately, we're both very happy with this mandolin and it's worth threefold the price. It does take a some tunings before it holds the set for extended periods of time, but this also happens with guitars. A few of the tuning pegs change a little dripless and we were a bit afraid to unstable them, but no section have broken. The sound is pleasant and crisp and the mandolin feels beatific when playing.

If you're a guitar contestant hunting to branch out, I highly recommend this mandolin. Although the string order is different, you'll adjust quickly. I unconcealed a aggregation of my favorite songs actually sound much meliorate played on this mandolin.

Jonathan Peacock Said: Seems to be worth the Dec. 27th 2009

I got this as a gift. For the money, it's just what it's questionable to be. Straight discover of the box, it was in good shape. It took a patch to tune, but today it seems to stop its tuning pretty well. The tuners are OK--not great because digit tuning peg seems really tight and added seems a little loose. Neither is an issue so far, and the strings seem decent for a low-priced component same this.

Intonation seems pretty beatific to a beginner's ear. The state gets a lowercase broad time the ordinal fret, but not likewise bad. The fit of the mandolin in the lance activity is a little tight, but I'm entertained with the activity for the price.

Overall, I conceive this mandolin is a bargain. The exclusive abstract that would have made it 5-star would have been a band and some picks at this price.
