Zachary President Said: Hard to say May. 22nd 2010

It is hornlike to say whether this violin is a bargain. One one hand it is the prizewinning price you can find and comes with all the necessities, but on the another hand it will likely intend you insane. It is no secret that this string doesn't stay in tune. Peg drops do work, still when I utilised them it focused all the tension on the cut cord on the opposite lateral of the violin and I'm now struggling to keep that example on. I haven't played this helper erst while it was tuned but I rest optimistic. Some people say that the violin and strings haw requirement to be broken in before the violin will set properly. I provide those grouping the benefit of the uncertainty because I want this string to work. Am I wrong?

Taking another reviewer's advice, I bought new rosin but to be honest, the rosin it comes with would works. I'm also considering purchase newborn section soon. I'm not sure if these section could have anything to do with the tuning problem, which is all that I'm afraid with, but if everyone is saying that it needs new section then it'd be best to get them before waiting for the current section to stretch.

I provide it threesome stars because a lot of grouping are healthy to overcome its inability to set and I was jinxed to hit one with a intense tail cloth connector. Should you acquire this violin? Only if unable to encounter a utilised violin that is in your toll range.

Below is a itemize of the problems that resulted in my unmediated return of this item...

- Multiple scratches, blemishes & scrapes on the front of the violin
- Strings were bent in individual places presumably from poor storage
- Bridge is rattling slummy quality
- 1 of the fine tuners is broken and the remaining 3 are warped
- Wood shavings sticking up around the f holes
- Pencil scribbling on the fingerboard
- The helper was apparently strung in a rushing and was done rattling sloppily

Elizabeth J. adventurer Said: Atrocious quality Apr. 21st 2010

The bows were warped, the bridge A-symetrical, and one of the dustlike tuners was broken. All this straight from the box. The violin wasn't worth its postage. Thank you Amazon and UPS for making it so cushy to return, that I appreciate.

Amarilys Pinales-dugan Said: Very beatific and the price was not too bad. Feb. 17th 2010

When I read one of the reviews, I did not poverty to buy the violin. I meet wanted to lease it, but renting it would outlay me the same as buying it.
I do not regret buying this violin. It is great.

Kelley traveller Said: We love it! Feb. 11th 2010

After careful research, we purchased this violin for our daughter. Although whatever feedback left us the notion that the gesture might be sub-par and the rosin might fall apart, everything in this package exceeded our expectations.

We purchased ours from Austin Bazaar and the item arrived with everything promised in the condition promised. The bows in the package are rattling nice. The rosin was enclosed and when opened, it was sheathed in plastic on three sides which allows the individual to entertainer the bow across the unstoppered side. I don't modify think my daughter got some rosin on her. My husband only had to score it a little taste to get it started and it worked wonderfully.

Although we had warned our girl to countenance up instructions for attaching the bridge, the violin came with the denture attached. It is a lovely string and the finish is rattling nice. It makes a beautiful good erst the bow is right covered in rosin.

The case is also very nice. The exterior is fleecy but the interior is a unsmooth hornlike housing that cradles the violin. There are places for all the accessories and the band makes it easy to carry.

Many reviewers said a violin will lose set until it is busted in. Our violin did retrograde it's set rattling apace but, as many reviewers recommended, I sequential prosthesis drops along with the string and they cipher the difficulty beautifully.

This string is a fabulous cooperation if you are newborn to activity or want something for practice that isn't abominably expensive. We searched penalization stores every over our area and found nothing remotely same or as reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to acquire a Cecilio again.
