I hit been activity the violin for many eld and teaching as well. Over those years, I hit proven many, many shoulder rests, including whatever very pricey rests and another very inexpensive. I hit a few students who ingest and same the Maestro and its less than 10 toll tag . I absolutely dislike the KUN call shoulder rests, specially the collapsible ones that start apart. UGH. That crapper ruin a performance!!
This Wolf margin rest, specially the secondo style, has been very beatific for me! It is adjustable, and very flexible. For those of us with longer necks, it is ideal. I love how lightweight it is, as well; I crapper scarce tell if it's on my instrument. It also is rattling upgrade on my instrument. I've had another shoulder rests chew up the sides of my violin! Also, if you go to the Wolf scheme site, you crapper buy equal rubber feet!
I highly recommend this shoulder rest.

When I conventional the Wolf Forte Secundo shoulder rest, it had a faulty weld/solder on digit side and was unusable. I purchased this product because it was supposed to work substantially for people with individual necks. I returned the margin rest and kept my Kun margin rest which is much more durable. My husband simply increased the peak of my current shoulder rest by using digit couplers and two added 8-32 monument screws. The outlay was a mere 3.00 for the retrofit.

After 20 eld of ingest I just bought my second one. Reliable, comfortable and relatively durable. The feet do wear down after a few eld of ingest and the aggrandize after 20 eld of ingest has also worn down though ease usable. It is pleasant because the Wolf is made from metal which makes it quite strong yet looks slim. I have used mountain of another shoulder rests over the eld and I ease go backwards to this one because of the price and performance. Only abstract to watch out for are the feet because the rubber will wear faster than the another parts. Over all I am very satisfied.
