The biggest question I ask most these cables, are they worth the payment charged above more connatural cables? The key to me is the lower modify 100 program Monster cables, Monster S100-I-12 Standard 100 1/4-Inch Instrument Cable 12 Feet . The respond is mixed, and depends on what you are looking for.
The telegram ends are very heavy, they are metal and do unscrew. In some ways this is probably good, they feel beatific in your assistance plugging and unplugging. The toy are metallic plated and look same they would terminal a lifetime. On the another hand, the series 100 plugs are a formed impressible end, with a beatific bit of turn to them, and they are device weight. So the choice is, heavy, shiny gold; or reddened weight, gray/black? For me, I same the heft of these cables.
Construction-wise these are likely period cables. Check discover the pictures I've posted. The metal structure screws into the jack. There is an O-ring to seal the top assets of the threads. Inside the wires are soldered solidly to the jack, and then the full thing is patch in solidified paint or plastic. Unless you run over this end with a truck or pulled rattling rattling hornlike same tug of war, the wire is never separating from the jack. I don't conceive the actual 1/4 inch jack is some sturdier than other jacks.
Sound is excellent. They are clear clean cables. Are they meliorate than the 100's? Oh maybe a tiny bit. Maybe a lowercase clearer, cleaner sound. But it isn't a Brobdingnagian difference.
Bottom line, for gigging, probably go with the 100's. The jack ends will intend stepped on at whatever point and they are cheap enough to replace. For training or in your house, these are belike the way to go. They do countenance specially beatific obstructed into a Marshall half stack.
These cables are not outrageously over priced like everything else Monster Cable. Study assorted one lodge inch diddley cables and you'll wager these are priced rattling close to everyone else. This is not the housing of the HDMI cables at the bounteous box store for banknote nowadays what you should clear for them.

Very nice cable that does everything needed from a instrument cable. The only belt against it is the rattling large, heavy, gold ends. They are rattling bulky and heavy. This haw be a better organisation than the impressible ended monster cable I had before, but it seems to me that these heavy metal ends may lead to wear problems downbound the road. Maybe not, I guess we module see!

Had mine for 11 months. Started making intermittent noise, which would go away if I jiggled the ends. Became inferior intermittent and more continuous. I am sending it back for a equal by Monster low its Lifetime Warranty. Hopefully the replacement lasts longer. Meanwhile, I module endeavor finished my 20-year older Whirlwind cable, until the newborn Monster Rock telegram arrives. Disappointed in NJ!
