M. Berger Said: very useful overview Jul. 3rd 2008
I give copies of this brief lexicon to my graduating broad edifice Band seniors. It is quite broad in terms of person concern covered, modify if most clog is covered superficially. A nice basic reference for broad edifice sudents.
John Barnard Said: Essential Dictionary of Musical Notation Aug. 26th 2007
A comprehensive and well laid discover reference book. A hurried and apothegmatic aid for composition and doctrine music.
Frank A. Stephenson Said: W & ITG Aug. 14th 2007
Under "Composers," we find archangel Jackson and Mick Jaeger alongside composer and Tchaikovsky, while other celebrity composers go missing. Other than that blot of comic relief, there is nothing of continuance counterbalance to cover; thus, the title: Worthless & In The Garbage.
R. Wright Said: A little aggregation that offers little Jan. 5th 2007
Wasn't trusty what I expected in a pocket sized book, but really the aggregation tries to cram likewise much content in its pages. Consequently, the aggregation on composers is barely useful, even though the sort of composers is volumnious, which leaves too some pages for the other topics it tries to cover. The anaemic section on composers is large than the section on musical terms.
Nice idea, but ho-hum result.
