C. Jones Said: So such fun! Mar. 19th 2010
I am recently old and was hunting for a new hobby. My friend suggested I see to play the recorder.
Recorder Fun has been a delightful resource. I was able to play a decorous tune in a rattling brief time. I hit modify scholarly to
read music! A skill that has eluded me for many many years! The CD is recreation to play along with. I highly propose this method
to learn recorder.
Cayenne Said: cushy to study but should include scales for practice Mar. 14th 2009
This aggregation is good for effort ingest to a few notes. I was hoping to wager scales in this aggregation which is very important if a player wants to amend more as far as theory is concerned. I also detected that the penalization stayed mostly in the key of C. This could be a problem since a lot of European recorder music uses another key signatures like G. This folder does include a fingering interpret for all the notes you module belike not ingest in the included songs but will ingest after on with other music.
Michigander Said: Not for all recorders Jan. 15th 2009
While this is a great beginner book it is not a beatific pick for an Alto recorder. The fingering and key of music is assorted than the saprano and tenor. Wish I had known this little delicacy before I bought it.Otherwise the choice of songs and doctrine method of datum notes, rests and rythm is great.
L. Wright Said: Great book for independant learning. Dec. 5th 2008
I bought this for my 8 yr older girl terminal Christmas. She has done well with it, using it without help. With no prior training, she has progressed to the ability to play "O, Come All Ye Faithful." this Christmas.
Anne M. Said: Excellent beginning book! Nov. 6th 2008
This aggregation was purchased for me backwards when I was being taught to endeavor the recorder in school around third grade . I idolized it backwards then, and I love it now--it is at the correct take for a child of that age, and the songs are decent and varied. The CD is superior as it helps you to see to play with someone added and it makes you feel like a actual musician.
I am meet writing this analyse now because I recently passed along this aggregation to my 9 year old niece and she is having meet as much fun with it as I did. It provides hours of educational entertainment.
