While this is a great beginner book it is not a beatific pick for an Alto recorder. The fingering and key of music is assorted than the saprano and tenor. This aggregation was purchased for me backwards when I was being taught to endeavor the recorder in school around third grade . I idolized it backwards then, and I love it now--it is at the correct take for a child of that age, and the songs are decent and varied. The CD is superior as it helps you to see to play with someone added and it makes you feel like a actual musician.
